We’ve received your professional referral to HERSANA.

Your referral will first be reviewed by our Duty Welcome Team. Our Welcome Duty Officers will check the information provided and allocate the referral to the most appropriate HERSANA support department.

As part of this initial review, a Welcome Duty Officer may contact you to clarify or confirm information within the referral before it is allocated. Please respond to any requests for further information as soon as you are able, as this may help us to progress the referral.

Once the referral has been reviewed and allocated, the relevant team will take forward the next steps, including contact with the person referred where appropriate and in accordance with the safe contact information you have provided.

Please note: Submitting a referral does not guarantee that HERSANA will be able to offer support. We will review the referral to confirm eligibility, identify the appropriate support pathway and determine whether HERSANA is the most appropriate service to meet the person’s needs.

If there is an immediate risk of harm or an emergency, please do not wait for HERSANA to respond. Contact the appropriate emergency or safeguarding service.
